New Technology Improves Document Capture; Streamlines Clinical Documentation
Ozark, MO, April 20, 2009 – HealthMEDX, the number one US based software provider for long-term care, home health, and rehab organizations today announced a technology partnership with Imagetek, a national leader in enterprise content management and business process automation, to bridge the gap between paper-based documents and the HealthMEDX electronic health records (EHR) system, easing the electronic records management transition for healthcare providers.
Together, Imagetek and HealthMEDX have created a solution that provides extended care organizations with easy and reliable access to patient data, including active and archived paper documents, through the Inofile™ interface. Imagetek’s Inofile document processing service enables direct document scanning and delivery. Hosted within the Fujitsu fi-6010N iScanner, Inofile’s convenient touch-and-go interface allows clinicians to automatically scan and store documents to the HealthMEDX solution in context with the patient record.
