MEET ME

Hi, I’m Ted Kruzan, the founder and CEO of Imagetek. I went to Iowa State University and afterwards went to work for IBM. I felt like a small cog in a big wheel while there and knew I could make a bigger impact elsewhere, ultimately leading me to the entrepreneurial inspiration for Imagetek. I wanted to create a better way for teammates to collect, store, share and protect information rather than printing off reams of paper. We have accomplished that with great success. In the past 24 plus years of business, I’ve successfully worked with hundreds of companies on their path to paperless. From the old days of on-premises software to our state-of-the-art SaaS solutions, (which has a better uptime rate than Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Dropbox an award-winning 99.999%), workflow, and business process outsourcing solutions.

When I’m not working I enjoy networking events, hiking, and, well, pretty much anything in nature.

PAST YEAR IN REVIEW

As I wrote about last year, we had a lot on our plate. We had an incredible amount of initiatives we had executed on, and to say we were busy was putting it lightly. I remember thinking ‘this is probably the most productive and busiest year we’ve ever been.’

Well, I was wrong – but in the most fabulous way possible.

2019 has blown last year out of the water in some of the most incredible ways.

Our team was worked tirelessly on achieving even loftier goals, and I couldn’t be happier, or prouder, to be a part of this wonderful organization.

Here are a few things at a glance we think you’ll find a lot of value in:

  1. For the 12th time, being a recpient of the Circle of Excellence Award
  2. The first round of AIA calls have been made. You can learn and schedule yours here.
  3. Launched an RPA (Robotic Process Automation) offering.
  4. Implemented a Knowledge Base. Lots of articles to help you find the answers you’re searching for.
  5. Launched an AP Automation solution

WHERE WE ARE GOING

We believe it’s important that you know where our business is going. 2020 is more exciting than ever. Buying into our company is not only a commitment to a better future, but you’ll be adopting our values as our own (just as we do with you). We want you to be excited about our strategic direction and where we plan to take you and your team into the future. I hope this letter outlines those beliefs for you.

There are three big three big focuses for 2019:

  1. Help more customers automate parts of their business (like, invoice automation) using RPA.
  2. Increase our Business Process Outsourcing offerings.
  3. Expand our partnerships to bring fresh, new, and creative technologies to you all.

1) More Automation = More ROI

Invoice Automation has been quite the focus this year. We’ve seen tremendous opportunity with providing this new offering. We’ve also created a ton of content to help explain how this helps businesses and industries of all types.

Our biggest win in this space was helping a client turn 85% of ALL of their invoices compltely hands off using robots. They handle all of the manual entry and data scrapping, freeing up tons of the teams time to work on more important problems.

You’ll probably hear a lot more about this topic in the upcoming year as we believe the majority of our customers (like you) will benefit from some sort of integration.

2) Business Process Outsourcing

For those of you who aren’t familiar with this term (also known as BPO), this is a division you may or may not know we have (hence, why we’re focusing on it).

Our BPO is a document scanning service that replaces your critical information processing departments with our teams of experienced professionals. Examples include Accounts Payable, HR onboarding, Claim processing, etc..

We offer economies of scale that make our offerings more cost-efficient, faster turnarounds, and more reliable than in-house offerings.

3) New Parternships and Technologies

And lastly, we’re working on bringing some new partnerships and software to the table. At this moment we’ve got a really unique RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solution we rolled out this year. In addition to that, we launched a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) offering and are proud to say that’s it’s been a major success. Forms Magic, our capture software infused with AI, has been implemented with some HUGE companies – and they are already reaping the benefits.

We’re primarily looking at expanding services and offerings to the financial, education, and a few other industries. But, more on this when we formally announce them next year.

So! Long story short stay tuned. We’re looking at some really cool new partnerships which should allow us to offer some new integrations and software.
